Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and servicing vehicles and a 310S license. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and performing various mechanical tasks. The Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize schematics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts or equipment as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive repair is essential.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals for various vehicle systems.
- Ability to use computer systems.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to automotive repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing mechanical issues.
- A valid driver's license is required.
