Easecare Pharmacy of Surrey is urgently hiring reliable and compassionate caregivers for daily medication visits in the community.
This is a focused, in-home medication support role. You will travel to clients' homes once a day to ensure they take their medications as directed and provide basic health checks when requested.
You will be visiting clients door-to-door throughout the Surrey North area, making a meaningful difference by helping seniors stay consistent with their prescribed medication routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to clients' homes for scheduled daily visits
- Remind and/or assist clients with taking their medications according to their care plan and authorized instructions
- Confirm that medications have been taken as required
- Document medication visits accurately
- Report missed medications, concerns, or changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional
- Take basic vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, or oxygen saturation, when requested
- Communicate any concerns identified during the visit
- Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
Important: This Is a Medication-Focused Position
The primary responsibility of this role is daily medication support and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Active registration/certification with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry, active nursing licence, or another recognized qualification appropriate for the duties
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Comfortable travelling between multiple client homes
- Medication administration/support experience is an asset
- Comfortable taking basic vital signs, including blood pressure
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Caring and respectful approach when working with seniors
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans and medication instructions carefully
