Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Budtender/Key Holder to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers while supporting daily store operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead by example. Duties
- Greet and assist customers with product selection, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Provide detailed product knowledge and educate customers on different strains, edibles, and accessories
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and restocking shelves
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while adhering to compliance regulations
- Manage store opening and closing procedures as a Key Holder, including security checks
- Handle customer inquiries both in person and via phone or email with professionalism
- Assist with inventory counts, filing, and record keeping using computer skills such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Support team members with daily tasks, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including heavy lifting when necessary for stock movement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or hospitality environments; previous budtending experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English
- Familiarity with computer operation, and basic math for cashiering and inventory tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with time management skills for key holder responsibilities
- Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and general computer skills necessary for daily operations
