The Role
This is an on-site position , requiring four weekdays per week and alternating weekends. You will serve as the face of the building — the standard-bearer for resident experience, team performance, and property excellence.
Responsibilities
Resident Experience & Customer Service
- Engage with residents in a warm, professional, and polished manner befitting a luxury address
- Cultivate an atmosphere of hospitality and community that keeps residents proud to call 101 St. Clair home
- Respond to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours, with thorough follow-up
- Plan and execute curated resident events that reflect the building's elevated character
- Handle all administrative functions including lease processing, notices, and renewal documentation
Team Leadership & Development
- Interview candidates and provide hiring recommendations to the District Manager
- Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing development for all site staff
- Build a team culture rooted in professionalism, accountability, and hospitality
- Manage staff scheduling to align with operational needs and peak periods
- Navigate conflict resolution with composure and sound judgment
- Support the District Manager with operating budgets and capital planning
Leasing & Administration
- Represent the property with confidence and sophistication when showing suites to prospective residents
- Process applications including background and credit checks
- Ensure timely rent collection and deposit
- Negotiate lease renewals in line with established targets
- Utilize Yardi for transaction recording and operational reporting
- Conduct market surveys and provide rate recommendations to the District Manager
- Champion referral programs to residents and prospects
Property & Maintenance Oversight
- Maintain a working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps, emergency generators, swimming pools, and sprinkler systems
- Oversee month-end duties including suite inspections, contractor scheduling, and turnover management
- Supervise contractors to ensure all work meets the property's exacting standards
- Support capital plan execution alongside the District Manager and Construction Manager
- Review and approve contractor invoices
Fire Safety & Emergency Preparedness
- Maintain knowledge of fire and life safety systems
- Support emergency response procedures as required
What You Bring
- Experience in luxury multi-residential, hospitality, or a related service industry
- A polished, professional presence and genuine passion for resident satisfaction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team
- Sound understanding of operating budgets and capital plans
- Comfort with property management systems (Yardi experience an asset)
- Knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures
- Proficiency in basic electrical and plumbing maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move objects exceeding 50 lbs.
