Wood By Jay is looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our team.
We're a custom cabinetry and woodworking shop based in Edmonton, building everything from mudrooms and entertainment units to kitchens, closets, and custom furniture.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, learning new skills, and working in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sanding cabinet components
- Assisting cabinet makers with assembly
- Packaging completed projects
- Loading and unloading materials
- Keeping the shop clean and organized
- Picking up materials from suppliers
- Picking up hardware and shop supplies
- Assisting with cabinet installations
- General shop support wherever needed
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable transportation to work
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with woodworking or cabinetry is an asset, but not required. We're willing to train the right person who has a great attitude and is eager to learn.

Competitive wages based on experience.
