Wage: CAD $75,000 to $85,000 annually

Role:
The Account Manager is responsible for winning new accounts, expanding existing accounts, and providing exceptional service to all active and prospective customers. The Account Manager works directly with recruiting and customer support to ensure that the clients' hiring needs and the contract employees' payroll expectations are met. This person is responsible for managing the performance of one or more Recruiters.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving spread growth (gross margin growth) by winning new accounts and expanding current account relationships;
- Establishing (and adjusting when necessary) a list of target accounts and prospects using all available internal and external resources;
- Setting meetings by differentiating themselves and Actalent services;
- Conducting well-prepared face to face meetings with decision makers; getting results by asking appropriate questions that qualify business and take advantage of opportunities to create value and meet client needs;
- Ensuring that client needs are met by taking thorough requirements, prioritizing the requirements, and seeking feedback on our performance;
- Maximizing profitability by effectively negotiating bill rates and terms; ensuring that direct labour rates are in line with market standards;
- Building and maintaining relationships within accounts by providing quality contractors; proactively marketing resumes of ideal candidates;
- Performing sales related activities including, but not limited to, leading meetings at client sites and client manager, and contractor lunches;
- Communicating account knowledge to team members (recruiters, CSA, sales, Director) through “req meetings” and Red Zone meetings;
- Managing and developing business partnership with recruiter(s) by reinforcing recruiting fundamentals, requiring accountability and providing consistent feedback;
- Managing recruiter performance by using Plateau; and
- Executing supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2 or more years of experience in a commission based, performance driven environment, with a background of hitting daily/weekly KPIs
- 3 or more years of experience in a customer facing role
- 1 or more years of Engineering Industry experience, with knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing engineering principles, terminology, and skillsets
- 1 or more years of Experience working in an engineering recruiting environment, either as an Account Manager or Recruiter
- 1 or more years of experience managing employee performance reviews
- 1 or more years of experience screening, interviewing and selecting engineering talent based on skills, experience and career goals
- 1 or more years of knowledge of skillsets including: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Mechanical Designer, Electrical Designer, Product Development specialists.
