Duties
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a friendly attitude to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Conduct nightly audits of hotel accounts, verifying transactions, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports to ensure accuracy.
- Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing information as needed.
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety checks, and controlling access to the property during overnight hours.
- Update and maintain guest records accurately within the hotel management system, ensuring data privacy and integrity.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly and uphold hotel standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; previous night audit experience is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems, multi-line phone systems, and guest relations techniques.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for financial audits and record keeping.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a resort or hotel setting; availability during weekends and holidays is desirable.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous; previous front desk or guest services experience is ideal.
