Pay Rate: $75 to $98/hr IC / $75 to $84/hr CE, depending on relevant skills and experience.
Security Clearance: Current OPG Security Clearance required
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Specialist, Mechanical to support mechanical inspection and quality activities at the Pickering site.
The successful candidate will perform incoming, in-process, and final mechanical inspections, review and work within Inspection and Test Plans, support on-site inspection activities, and ensure required quality documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with project requirements.
This is a fully on-site position supporting nuclear projects and requires an individual with strong mechanical inspection experience, relevant welding qualifications, and current OPG security clearance.

Perform mechanical inspections during incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.

Review and work within Mechanical Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Perform mechanical inspections at site and verify work against applicable requirements.

Liaise with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and support Authorized Nuclear Inspector (ANI) inspections.

Complete and submit History Dockets and associated quality documentation.

Ensure inspection activities and documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with project requirements.

Work with engineering, quality, construction, project management, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.

Support overall quality assurance and inspection activities for nuclear projects.

CWB Level I certification required at minimum.

CWB Level II or CWB Supervisor certification is preferred.

Current OPG Security Clearance required.

Relevant experience in mechanical inspection and quality assurance.

Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and Inspection and Test Plans.

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a site environment.

Nuclear industry experience is required.
