We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Duties
- Manage financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements
- Conduct internal audits
- Analyze financial reports
- Maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist with budget preparation
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Perform payroll functions
- Prepare Employee T4 , T1 etc
- Generate bi-weekly Paystubs
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong knowledge of financial services
- Ability to conduct account analysis
- Experience with accounts receivable and payable
- Familiarity with financial auditing processes
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Xero, or similar platforms
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
Language:
Licence/Certification:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred)
