Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave in New Westminster, British Columbia.
A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required, as this position involves delivering medications to patients.
Compensation listed is a starting point only and will be determined based on candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform medication and medical supply pickups and deliveries throughout New Westminster.
- Report directly to the Pharmacy Manager.
- Use a personal, reliable vehicle for deliveries, as a company vehicle is not available. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
- Ensure the safety and security of all medications, medical supplies, and other cargo during transportation.
- Complete delivery documentation, obtain required signatures, and submit delivery slips as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery and related records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Qualifications:
- Valid, permanent provincial driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current driver’s abstract dated within the last 30 days.
- Trustworthy and dependable, with a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to accurately follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Availability to work between 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Criminal Record Check is required.
