Performs all repairs and follows the preventive maintenance program thoroughly to maintain optimum equipment performance and minimize downtime and costs.
(This list is not exhaustive and may include additional responsibilities.)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for floor calls and emergencies.
- Responsible for machine troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Acts as liaison for contractors carrying out repairs in the plant.
- Monitors compliance with health and safety, good manufacturing practices and food safety.
- Other job-related duties.
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience on an automated production line.
- Experience in food production (an asset).
