Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. We are looking for a candidate who can excel operating and setting up 2 and 4-axis CNC lathes equipped with Fanuc Controls. This position is ideal for a machinist with strong setup and operating experience, along with a working knowledge of some of the basics of G-Code and precision measurement.

Responsibilities:
- perform machine setups by following setup instructions and job documentation (as well as make any necessary revisions to existing setups if needed)
- Safely operate 2-axis and 4-axis CNC lathes, equipped with Live-tooling
- Make tool offsets and minor program edits as required
- Read and interpret machining drawings/work requirements
- Maintain tight tolerances and verify finished parts meet specifications
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including: vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, other precision measuring equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely while maintaining and quality and productivity standards
- Communicate effectively with leadership and team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes
- Working knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Basic Understanding of G-Code with the ability to make minor programming edits
- Ability to work independently and troubleshooting machining issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
- Good communications skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- (optional) Having your own tools/equipment is an asset
- (optional) Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Gibbs Cam) is a bonus but not required
