Your Role
The Bufflehead Café is looking for an experienced Barista to create high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Your role will require a passion for customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter the restaurant
- Take drink or to-go food orders, upselling whenever appropriate
- Serving drinks and to-go food orders to guests at the barista counter
- Collaborate with the servers to complete seated guests orders
- Process payments
- Maintain a clean & organized work station
- Assist with stock and basic food prep, as required
- Other tasks as assigned by the Bufflehead Manager (or shift supervisors)
Requirements
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask & work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoon, evenings, weekends, & holidays
- Must carry a valid Serving It Right certificate (19+)
