As Shipping and Receiving Associate you are one of the most valued members of the team, responsible for getting Audio Visual products in and out our warehouse doors. You will be receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other duties.

Duties and responsibilities
- Welcome delivery trucks to receive and ship products
- Stock products and supplies according to part numbers and location of use from warehouse by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment
- Attention to detail when completing tasks such as: picking and packing orders, weighing & recording of products, box labeling and documentation, etc.
- Store/put-away products and supplies according to part numbers and or descriptions
- Process requests by picking and filling orders from stock, packing/palletizing, printing and affixing shipping labels
- Safely load outgoing materials into trucks/shipping containers
- Perform quality audits on the condition of incoming goods prior to sign off
- Unload incoming shipments and unpack to appropriate areas, by the aid of mechanical devices as needed
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents; record shortages and/or damages prior to signing off receiving documents and report any issues to immediate supervisor
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in warehouse
- Operate a 5-tonne truck for deliveries as needed
- Load and unload delivery truck(s) as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- Minimum 2 years experience driving a 5-tonne truck or similiar
- Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker (an asset)
- Hands on experience with inventory and logistics (an asset)
- Great physical stamina and manual dexterity; ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.). Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 - 70 lbs
- Experience with operating pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (an asset)
- Experience loading and unloading delivery truck
