Swampers / Driver / Crane Operator (Warehouse Operations)
We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and experienced individuals to join our team as Swampers, Drivers, and Crane Operators. The successful candidates will assist with moving and loading materials, operating forklifts and cranes, and supporting warehouse operations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform physically demanding tasks, and maintain a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with moving, organizing, and handling materials within the warehouse and at job sites.
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are properly secured and handled.
- Complete deliveries and pickups in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service during all client interactions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding schedules and delivery requirements.
- Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform general warehouse labor and support daily operations as needed.
- Ensure materials and equipment are transported safely to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, moving, swamper, delivery driving, or crane operation is preferred.
- Valid Class 3 or Class 1 Driver's License required for driving positions.
- Crane operating experience and applicable certifications are considered strong assets.
- Forklift operating experience and certification are an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work safely.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
