Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in security operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all areas of the property.
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, including emergencies or security breaches.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries while ensuring access control protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address incidents effectively.
- Conduct loss prevention measures by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing corrective actions.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security technology is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and ensure asset protection.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and the public.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations while enforcing safety protocols.
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
