Welder Fitter Fabricator
Location: Brampton,ON
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional longer hours may be required to complete projects or meet deadlines)
Job Overview
Custom material handling and machine manufacturing company is seeking a Welder Fitter Fabricator. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
This is a hands-on role involving fabrication, welding, fitting, and assembly of custom components used in industrial machinery and material handling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cutting, grinding, welding, fitting, and assembly of metal components
- Fabricate parts based on drawings, sketches, and technical specifications
- Work primarily with stainless steel and sheet metal materials
- Perform TIG welding with a focus on quality and precision
- Assist in machine and component assembly as required
- Ensure work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- 1 -2 years of welding/fabrication experience
- Strong skills in:
- Cutting and grinding
- Welding and fitting
- General fabrication and assembly
- Experience with stainless steel and sheet metal fabrication is required
- TIG welding experience is a must
- Ability to perform moderate lifting and physical work
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
