Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced residential Warranty and Site Service Technician (full-time, permanent) to join our Warranty team and support multiple residential projects throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
The Warranty and Site Service Technician, reporting to the Warranty Lead, will be responsible for pre and post inspections, warranty assessments, service trade coordination, and repair follow-up. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with residential home builders and confident in handling homeowner warranty concerns and promptly addressing request and ensuring services are following Art Homes’ warranty policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to scheduled warranty service requests in a timely manner
- Continuously communicate repairs and expectations throughout the service process to homeowners
- Provide homeowners with guidance and maintenance instructions regarding product performance as required
- Accurately perform all requested repairs and ensure high-quality craftsmanship
- Diligently document work orders, photos, notes and homeowner signoffs
- Conduct scheduled pre and post inspections as required
- Spot recurring warranty issues and flag them for the team
- Determine warranty items in compliance with company warranty policies and guidelines
- Coordinate and communicate trades scheduling and work order details with office staff
- Document and maintain all service visits in appropriate company databases and logs
- Adhere to all internal safety processes and procedures
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in residential construction, warranty, service or renovation experience, is required
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License an acceptable drivers abstract, is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic trades including carpentry, drywall, painting and minor plumbing/electrical repairs
- Strong understanding of Alberta Building Code and local municipal requirements and practices
- Working familiarity with Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft Word and Excel and comfortable using smartphones/tablets and basic construction software
- Good judgement, follow-through and personal accountability
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities with a prompt follow-up process
- Able to efficiently communicate with all internal and external stakeholders
