Duties
- Assist with packaging products accurately and efficiently to meet production targets
- Operate equipment such as forklifts (training provided) to move raw materials and finished goods
- Support food processing activities while adhering to strict sanitation and food safety standards
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment
- Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting and perform minor maintenance tasks on machinery
- Use basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and quality checks
- Follow all safety procedures related to food safety, machinery operation, and workplace sanitation
- Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and materials as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, food processing, or related industries is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of packaging processes and forklift operation is a plus
- Familiarity with sanitation practices within the food industry is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge or basic troubleshooting skills are beneficial
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality control tasks
- Understanding of food safety standards and protocols is highly desirable
