Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain customer vehicles according to manufacturer and company standards
- Perform mechanical repairs including brakes, steering, suspension, engine, driveline, and electrical systems
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns
- Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Document inspections, repairs, and recommendations clearly and accurately
- Maintain productivity while ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Collaborate effectively with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians
- Stay current with new automotive technologies and repair procedures
Requirements
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License (required)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience performing automotive repairs and maintenance in a dealership or independent shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to fixing vehicles right the first time
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
