In this role you will:
Support the company’s Supply Chain Management team by providing KPIs and generating detailed data analyses and reports related to the group’s planning and procurement activities.
Work with the Planning group to reduce forecast error and bias reduction through the isolation and minimization of artificial demand variability and the integration of domain inputs.
Support Strategic Procurement with spend analysis and other reports required for category management and risk management processes.
Make recommendations on utilization of and selection of forecast/demand planning and supply planning software.
Work with Supply Chain Managers to build BI reports & support the root cause analysis of OOS, Oversells, and Service Level misses.
5+ years of experience in a high SKU seasonal business with a focus on supply chain analysis.
Proven track record of highly effective analysis and communication.
Practical knowledge of stats packages (i.e. SAS, SPSS or similar) and/or forecasting tools (i.e. Forecast Pro, John Galt Forecast X, Smart Forecast or similar).
Experience with CPG customer point of sale data (i.e. Retail Link) and consumption data (i.e. Nielsen) an asset.
Knowledge in scripting languages (Python, R, etc.) an asset.
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, Mathematics or similar.
IBF Certified Professional Forecaster or similar designation.
