Summary:
Produce Merchandisers are responsible for setting and maintaining attractive produce displays including accurate department signage and pricing. Performing maintenance and cleaning, including keeping the floors clear of debris and maintaining the sweep log. Breaking down produce orders in the back through the use of hand jacks and wheelers. Ensuring produce merchandise is stocked correctly, including regularly pulling merchandise from the cooler, bringing merchandise forward, bringing damaged goods to the back and returning any returns along the way. Demonstrating and utilizing product knowledge about the types of merchandise in the produce department including basic information about the product. Adhering to standards and policies for merchandise rotation, including identifying and removing merchandise that is damaged, outdated, or unacceptable in appearance to ensure freshness and quality.
Job Requirements:
· You must have open availability. Our hours of operation are Monday to Saturday 9:00am to 8:00pm and Sundays and holidays 9:30am to 8:00pm
· Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Passionate about customer service
· Ability to work in a faced paced environment
· Friendly and outgoing personality
· Detail oriented
· Ability to stand for long periods of time
