Grand Hotel and Conference Centre Calgary Airport is looking for a friendly, professional, and reliable Front Desk Agent to join our team.

Evening & Weekend Availability Required
Applicants must be available to work evening shifts and weekends. This is a mandatory requirement for the position.
Duties
- Welcome and check guests in and out in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle guest requests, questions, and concerns promptly
- Process reservations, payments, room changes, and cancellations
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Maintain accurate guest accounts and ensure proper cash/payment handling
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other hotel departments
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and Choice Hotels standards
- Promote Choice Privileges and assist guests with membership enrollment
- Ensure guests receive a positive experience throughout their stay
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and friendly attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to handle cash and credit/debit transactions accurately
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have evening and weekend availability
- Previous experience with ChoiceADVANTAGE or hotel PMS systems is an asset

Pay: $15.02-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
