The Impact You'll Make
As our Shipper/Receiver, you’ll be the first and last touchpoint for the shipments that move through our doors. You’ll ensure that every delivery is received with accuracy, every order leaves in perfect condition, and every process runs like clockwork. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the trust our customers place in us.
What You'll Do
- Process incoming deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders and reporting any discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments with careful packaging, accurate labeling, and proper documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move goods efficiently.
- Keep inventory records up to date and deliver the required production materials to various manufacturing areas.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve shipping or receiving issues quickly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Follow all corporate policies and procedures pertaining to Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
What You'll Bring
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (distribution or manufacturing background is an asset).
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both handling goods and completing paperwork.
- Ability to multitask and at times work under pressure
- Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping software.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and a commitment to safety.
