Broadhead Industrial is accepting resumes for Technician supporting installation and maintenance of equipment monitoring systems on a rotating 7/7 - 14/14 rotation within the shop and mine sites in Fort McMurray.

An excellent candidate will be:
A strong self-starter
Mechanical or electrical experience in automotive or equipment
- Ticketed or apprenticeship experience welcome
The people in this position will be expected to work 12 hours per shift on a 7/7 to 14/14 rotation.
Experience working on mining equipment an asset (haul trucks, graders, etc)
Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions
Repair and replace defective parts, components and/or systems
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and that it meets or exceeds manufacturer's specifications
Complete detailed inspection and repair notes using a digital application.
Work day to day with our technical support engineering to provide value add services to our customers.
What's required from you;
A minimum of 1 year experience working on mechanical or electrical systems.
Exposure to mining equipment/environment and/or mining tire shops considered an asset.
Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
Mechanical or electrical aptitude (ticket not mandatory)
Shop and/or field work experience
Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
Collaborative communication style
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
MUST be able to complete a Respirator Fit test and don a mask at any time while at work, which also means compliance with facial hair requirements to ensure a complete seal for the mask
Requirements;
Provide a minimum of a Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
Provide a criminal record check
Complete drug and alcohol screening with a negative result
Complete a fitness evaluation related specifically to your position
Provide copies of current certifications
