Overview
DOC247 is an Alberta-based healthcare technology company dedicated to improving access to healthcare through innovative digital solutions. We partner with family physicians and medical clinics to deliver seamless virtual and in-person care, making healthcare more accessible and efficient for patients across Alberta.
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to help expand our network of physicians, clinics, and strategic healthcare partners while driving the continued growth of DOC247.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit Family Physicians and medical clinics to join the DOC247 platform.
- Develop strategic partnerships with physician groups, medical clinics, healthcare organizations, and community healthcare providers.
- Promote DOC247's virtual care and real-time clinic queue solutions to prospective healthcare partners.
- Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and meetings with physicians, clinic owners, administrators, and healthcare executives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand DOC247's presence throughout Alberta.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and oversee the onboarding process for new clinics and physicians.
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to support recruitment campaigns and business growth initiatives.
- Manage the complete business development cycle from lead generation through contract execution.
- Maintain accurate records using CRM software and prepare regular business development reports.
- Represent DOC247 at healthcare conferences, networking events, and industry meetings.
- Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, digital health innovations, and market opportunities.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, physician recruitment, healthcare sales, healthcare technology, or a related healthcare industry role within the healthcare technology, digital health, SaaS, health IT, or technology sector.
- Experience working with Family Physicians, medical clinics, or healthcare organizations is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare sector or digital health industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
