Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
- Monitor food quality during service and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Follow proper food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen during busy periods, including plating and garnishing dishes
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience in meal preparation within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong serving skills and a customer-focused attitude are advantageous
