Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Optical Sales Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to clients, assisting with product selections, and supporting the overall operation of our optical retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eyewear and healthcare, with experience in retail sales or optical settings. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting eyewear products that meet their needs and preferences
- Provide detailed product information, including lens options, frame styles, and optical features
- Manage inventory levels, restock displays, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor
- Educate customers on insurance benefits and claims
- Collaborate with optometrists and laboratory staff to ensure seamless patient service and product delivery
- Contact patients to book and confirm their eye examination appointments.
- With or without optical sales experience are welcome to apply
- Assist in tracking inventory and restocking frames, lenses, and accessories.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$27.82 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
