Credentials
- Driver's License (Class 1)
- 2 – 3 years Super B Flat Deck Experience
- Mountain driving Experience
- Eligible to cross the border.
Documentation Knowledge
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Driver logbook
- Bill of lading
- ELD
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 1 flatbed truck to transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklift equipment as needed, while adhering to safety regulations.
- Handle Building material and other materials with care, ensuring they are secured for transport.
- dealing with different type of Equipment that includes flat bed, Hopper trailers, pneumatic b train etc.
Security and Safety
- Driving record
- Basic security clearance
- Clean Drivers Abstract
Transportation/Travel Information
- Valid driver's license (Class 1)
- Willing to travel long distances, 3- 4 nights out to BC, AB, SK & MB
