The Opportunity
We're not looking for someone to babysit a schedule. We're looking for a leader.
This is a building moment, and we want a Personal Training Manager who can own the PT department from day one and build a coaching team that delivers real transformations.
If you've ever wanted to run your own club but didn't want to take on the risk and capital yourself, this is that path. We'll give you the platform, the systems, and the runway. You bring the standards.
Who We Are
Our company is built on a simple, contrarian belief: gyms should make people better, not just collect their dues. We are deliberately the opposite of the discount, gimmick-driven, "we don't actually want you to work out" model. We invest in coaching, in service, and in genuinely caring about whether a member walks out stronger than they walked in.
We run on EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System). That means clear accountability, real scorecards, quarterly Rocks, and weekly L10 meetings. If you like knowing exactly what you own and how you're measured, you'll thrive here. If you prefer to hide from numbers, you won't.
What You'll Own
- Personal training revenue and growth. You're accountable for PT sales, retention, and department profitability — with a real number to hit and the tools to hit it.
- The coaching team. Recruit, develop, schedule, and hold trainers to a high standard. You set the bar for programming quality and professionalism.
- Member results and experience. Onboarding, assessments, program design standards, and the day-to-day member relationships that turn first-timers into lifelong clients.
- The PT sales process. Lead generation from the floor, consultations, package presentation, and clean contract execution.
- Your scorecard. Own your weekly numbers, report them honestly, and drive them up.
- The Club Manager track. As you prove yourself, take on broader club operations — front desk, membership sales, facility standards, and full P&L — with a clear path into the Club Manager role.
Who You Are
- Experienced. You've managed a personal training department or a fitness team and have the results to show for it. You know how PT revenue is built and what kills it.
- A genuine coach of people. You can develop a struggling trainer into a strong one, and you'd rather build a team than be the only star on the floor.
- A closer with integrity. You can sell training without ever making a member feel pressured or fooled. You sell because you believe in the outcome.
- Operationally sharp. Comfortable with numbers, systems, and being held accountable. EOS experience is a strong plus; willingness to live in it is required.
- Ready to lead a club. You want the responsibility of running the whole thing, not just your slice of it.
- Certifications (NASM, CSEP, ACE, or equivalent) and current CPR/First Aid required or in progress.
How We Operate — Our Values
These aren't wall decorations. They're how we hire, coach, and make decisions:
- People over transactions. Every member and every teammate is a person first. We treat them that way even when it's inconvenient.
- Second-mile service. We borrow shamelessly from the best hospitality culture in the world — warm, attentive, "my pleasure" service that members feel the moment they walk in.
- Integrity when no one's watching. We do the right thing, tell the truth in our numbers, and keep our word. Always.
- Excellence as stewardship. The club, the members' goals, and your team are entrusted to you. Take care of them like they're yours.
- Ownership and accountability. You own outcomes, not excuses. When something's broken, you fix it.
- Real transformation. We're in the business of changing lives, not selling memberships people never use. We're proud of that, and we expect you to be too.
Compensation & Growth
- $65,000–$105,000 total annual compensation — a competitive base plus performance incentives tied to PT department results and (as you grow) overall club performance.
- Membership and training benefits, and the chance to grow with a company actively expanding across BC toward 10+ locations.
