We are currently looking for an experienced Regional Manager to join our team. The Regional Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting all Connects Wireless retail locations within the Lower Mainland region, ensuring strong sales performance, operational excellence, and exceptional customer experiences across the assigned territory.
This role requires extensive telecom experience, strong retail management expertise, and the ability to lead, develop, and support multiple retail locations. The Regional Manager provides leadership, coaching, and accountability to Store Managers and employees while ensuring company standards, processes, and initiatives are consistently executed.
The Regional Manager reports directly to the President of Connects Wireless Ltd.

Compensation Disclaimer:
The posted wage range represents base salary for this position and does not include additional earning opportunities through commissions, performance-based bonuses, incentives, or other reward programs. Commission opportunities are based on regional performance and may be adjusted depending on the number of stores assigned the the Regional Manager.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Required telecom industry experience with strong knowledge of wireless products, services, and sales processes.
- Extensive management experience in a sales-driven retail environment with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience leading sales teams.
- Asset if you have experience leading multiple sales locations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and employee development skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, manage KPI's, and implement strategies to improve results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel throughout the Lower Mainland region and occasionally throughout BC.
- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
What You'll Do:
Leadership & Communication
- Maintain daily communication with each assigned store through morning huddles with Store Managers and/or staff (via in-person visits, phone calls, or messaging) to provide support, direction, and accountability.
- Ensure Store Managers conduct effective daily team huddles and provide leadership in locations without a Store Manager.
- Assume the role of Acting Store Manager for any assigned location without a Store Manager, providing day-to-day leadership and oversight until the position is filled.
- Lead weekly regional sales and operations meetings.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and employees, with a focus on leadership, performance, and professional growth.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
Sales Performance
- Ensure the region consistently achieves sales, gross profit, and KPI targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and take appropriate action when targets are not being met.
- Develop and implement KPI improvement plans with Store Managers, including measurable action steps and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Provide sales coaching, closing techniques, and support for company and Bell initiatives.
- Hold Store Managers accountable for achieving performance expectations and driving continuous improvement.
Store Operations
- Visit assigned stores a minimum of four (4) out of every five (5) working days, unless otherwise directed by the President of the Company.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure company and Bell standards are consistently maintained.
- Ensure all stores are customer-ready, clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- When assigned to a store without a Store Manager, assume responsibility for all day-to-day store management functions, including scheduling, coaching, performance management, operational execution, customer service, inventory oversight, and overall store performance until a permanent Store Manager is in place.
- Provide operational support and guidance to Store Managers to improve overall store performance.
- Ensure company initiatives, operational processes, and policy changes are implemented consistently throughout the region.
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Support the execution of regional advertising and local marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns and promotional activities.
- Encourage and support Store Managers and staff in executing approved local marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate and participate in community events, business networking, and outreach opportunities to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Support local lead generation efforts, including flyer distribution and community engagement activities.
Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor inventory levels across all assigned stores.
- Place inventory orders within approved purchasing guidelines.
- Obtain approval before placing inventory orders that exceed authorized purchasing limits.
- Ensure all stores remain adequately stocked with devices, accessories, SIM cards, marketing materials, and operational supplies.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between stores to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies as required.
Staffing & Recruitment
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring and selection of retail employees.
- Lead the onboarding and training of new employees.
- Support Store Managers in developing employee knowledge, skills, and performance.
- Identify staffing needs and communicate recruitment requirements to the President.
- Support succession planning by identifying and developing future leaders within the region.
Customer Experience
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently maintained throughout the region.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Promote a customer-first culture across all locations.
Financial & Labour Management
- Monitor labour scheduling, payroll hours, operating expenses, and overall store profitability.
- Support Store Managers in improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Review store performance reports and identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and expense management.
- Ensure labour scheduling aligns with business needs while maintaining excellent customer service.
Reporting & Administration
- Submit all required reports accurately and within established deadlines.
- Communicate regional performance updates, operational challenges, KPI improvement strategies, and business opportunities to the President.
- Report employee relations concerns, policy violations, workplace issues, or health and safety concerns to Human Resources in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Execute company initiatives, projects, and operational priorities as assigned.
- Maintain accurate documentation of store visits, coaching sessions, operational audits, and follow-up activities.
