Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy wholesale grocery warehouse. This role involves operating various material handling equipment, loading and unloading products, order picking, and moving inventory throughout the warehouse. Candidates must be comfortable working in a grocery warehouse environment where meat products are stored and handled.
Requirements
- Valid Forklift Certification - Minimum 1 year of experience
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment where meat and seafood products are stored and handled.
- Able to work in areas where meat and seafood odors may be present.
- Experience operating: Ryder (Ride-On) Forklift, Pump Truck, Counterbalance Forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
- Strong attention to safety and warehouse procedures
- Reliable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
- Load, unload, and move products throughout the warehouse
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment
- Stack, wrap, and organize pallets
- Perform inventory and material handling tasks
- Follow workplace safety policies and procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
