The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Growth, the Sales Operations Manager will lead the development of a high-performing, data-driven sales organization. This role is responsible for creating visibility, accountability, and consistency across the sales function through effective use of CRM tools, performance metrics, and coaching. The successful candidate is passionate about helping others succeed, using data to identify opportunities, remove obstacles, and support the team in achieving exceptional results. This leader will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to drive sustainable growth while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and grow a high-performing sales and account management team. Leverage CRM data and sales analytics to identify opportunities, improve performance, and create visibility into pipeline health. Establish clear goals, scorecards, and accountability measures that help team members succeed. Drive CRM adoption, data quality, forecasting accuracy, and reporting discipline. Use performance trends and customer insights to proactively identify growth opportunities and address gaps. Partner with Operations and Finance to improve the customer experience and support profitable growth. Support pricing, account growth, and customer retention initiatives. Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain top sales talent.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Experience implementing and managing CRM systems, dashboards, and sales performance reporting. Demonstrated success using metrics, scorecards, and accountability frameworks to drive results. Highly collaborative leader who enjoys helping others grow and achieve their potential. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. 10+ years of sales experience and 3+ years of leadership experience. Experience in construction, building materials, industrial distribution, or related industries preferred.

- The sales team consistently achieves its goals. CRM data is accurate, trusted, and used to make decisions. Team members receive regular coaching and development. Customer relationships continue to deepen and expand. Revenue, gross profit, and retention targets are consistently achieved. The sales organization operates with discipline, accountability, and transparency.
Compensation
- CAD $95,000–$115,000 base salary Performance-based bonus opportunity up to 50% Comprehensive benefits package

Experience:
