We are a fast-paced and growing selective demolition company known for our reliability, professionalism, and safety-first approach. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Manage accounts payable/receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare and send invoices to clients
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments
- Data entry, preparation of Job cost reports, etc.
- Assist with payroll preparation and HST, and WSIB reporting
Administrative Support:
- Manage day-to-day office operations (emails, phones, filing, mail, supplies)
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems (digital and physical)
- Prepare reports (Job Costing) presentations, and correspondence as needed
- Assist with preparation and submission of project documentation (permits, site safety plans, etc.)
- Track project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
- Support project managers with job site documentation, reports, and updates
- Assist in preparing documents for audits and inspections
- Raise purchase orders and manage supplier invoices
- Track expenses and assist in budget monitoring
- Order office and site supplies/equipment as needed
- Maintain records of staff training, certifications, and licenses
- Assist with onboarding of new staff and subcontractors
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience (preferably in construction, trades, or demolition)
- Proficiency in Quickbooks online
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) / Google Workspace
Schedule & Flexibility
- Full time position, with the flexibility to work part time hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
