Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and physically capable Truck & Trailer Wash Yard Attendant to join our team at Horizon X. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of our fleet commercial trucks and trailers. This position is vital to ensuring our equipment meets safety, compliance, and professional standards. Responsibilities
- Fleet Washing: Power-wash, scrub, and clean the exteriors of commercial trucks, tractors, and various types of trailers (dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, etc.).
- Trailer Washouts: Thoroughly clean and sanitize the interiors of trailers to prepare them for the next cargo load, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate high-pressure washing systems, water recycling equipment, and chemical dilution systems.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling cleaning chemicals responsibly according to MSDS guidelines.
- Yard Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free wash bay and surrounding yard environment.
- Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in commercial vehicle washing, detailing, detailing, or general yard/warehouse operations is highly preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Pride in ensuring vehicles are spotless and interior washouts are fully sanitized.
- Teamwork & Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
