Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on Sample Room & Showroom Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality store samples and showroom display boards, managing sample inventory, and keeping the sample room meticulously organized.
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of physical craftsmanship (cutting, gluing, and grouting) and administrative skills (data entry and inventory tracking using Microsoft Office).
Responsibilities
- Fabricate high-quality showroom boards and store samples. This includes arranging materials on boards, securing them with appropriate adhesives/glue, and applying grout for a finished, professional look.
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to develop compelling visual presentations.
- Manage inventory of display materials and samples.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events within the showroom.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of display areas.
- Ensure all boards and samples are accurately labeled with correct product codes, names, and specifications..
- Track, log, and manage incoming and outgoing sample inventory to ensure the store and design teams always have necessary materials on hand.
- Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to update inventory spreadsheets, print labels, and communicate with internal teams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized sample room. Restock materials and ensure tools are properly cared for.
- Ensure displays align with brand standards and marketing strategies.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or visual merchandising.
- Experience or comfort working with tools, glue, and grout. Excellent manual dexterity and an eye for straight lines and clean presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for inventory tracking and Word for labeling/documentation)..
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and visual design.
- Prior experience coordinating showroom displays or similar environments is prefer
- Ability to lift sample boxes, stand for extended periods, and handle physical materials daily.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
