Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and risk analysis, with excellent mathematical skills.
Duties
- Evaluate and analyze financial data to determine risk levels
- Assess and calculate potential risks in underwriting decisions
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients
- Collect and compile data for analysis
- Utilize mathematical skills to perform accurate risk assessments
- Prepare reports detailing risk analysis findings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience in underwriting or a similar role
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Ability to interpret complex financial information
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
