About The PAL Group
The PAL Group is a national manufacturer and distributor of industrial and food processing and packaging materials and equipment. With multiple manufacturing divisions, we produce custom printed labels, expanded polyethylene foam, poly tubing, and poly bags.
We have a strong focus on the food processing industry, providing essential products and solutions for both processing and packaging applications. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a dynamic and highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to our Alberta team.
About the Role
This is a key outside sales position for a driven, results-oriented professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and closing deals.
We are looking for a determined and effective “hunter” and closer with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow long-term with our team. Experience in custom printed labels, food packaging, and/or industrial packaging and equipment is highly valued.
Experience selling custom printed labels is an asset; however, we are willing to train the ideal candidate who demonstrates the right attitude, drive, and potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close new account opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Provide consultative, solution-based sales using a problem-solving approach
- Present and sell custom printed labels, packaging materials, and equipment solutions
- Develop and meet revenue budgets and sales targets
- Manage your territory and time effectively
- Work collaboratively with the support of a strong national sales team
- Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and customer needs
What We’re Looking For
- Positive, results-driven, self-starter with strong initiative
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Experience in custom printed labels, food processing/packaging, and/or industrial packaging and equipment is an asset
- A true “hunter” mentality with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
