Deep Cleaning Specialist – Airbnb Property
SparkleNest Cleaning is hiring reliable, experienced cleaners for a deep-cleaning project on August 22 at a 3-bedroom, 2-level Airbnb property in Southeast Calgary.
This is a detailed initial deep clean, not a standard Airbnb turnover. The goal is to bring the property to a very high standard and prepare it for ongoing regular turnover cleanings.
Cleaners who perform well on this project may be offered ongoing regular cleaning work at this property.

Deep Cleaning ResponsibilitiesKitchen
- Deep clean kitchen surfaces and countertops
- Clean inside and outside of the oven
- Clean inside and outside of the microwave
- Clean stovetop and range area
- Clean sink and fixtures
- Wipe cabinets and drawers
- Remove grease, buildup, and stains
- Vacuum and mop floors
Bathrooms
- Deep clean toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, and fixtures
- Clean mirrors and glass
- Remove buildup, hair, soap residue, and grime
- Clean floors and baseboards
Bedrooms & Living Areas
- Deep clean all 3 bedrooms
- Make/reset beds
- Dust furniture and surfaces
- Clean doors, trim, and visible wall marks
- Vacuum thoroughly, including around and underneath furniture
- Clean 2 couches
- Deep clean the bonus room
Carpet Cleaning
- Deep clean the designated carpeted area
- Vacuum thoroughly
- Spot-treat stains where possible
- Report any stains or damage that cannot be removed
Window Cleaning
Approximately 11 windows including the patio door.
Window cleaning will include:
- Interior window glass
- Exterior window glass where safely accessible
- Window frames
- Window tracks where practical
- Patio/deck door glass
- Special attention to the garage window
Some exterior windows are on the second floor. Applicants must have appropriate experience and safe equipment for elevated exterior window cleaning.
Additional Tasks
- Vacuum and mop throughout the property
- Clean baseboards and trim
- Remove dust and buildup from detailed areas
- Water 2 trees as requested by the property manager
- Clean the grill/BBQ if time permits
- Complete a final walkthrough
- Take required before-and-after photos
- Report any property damage or issues discovered
The garage itself does NOT need to be cleaned. Only the garage window requires cleaning.
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional, residential, Airbnb, hotel, or deep-cleaning experience preferred
- Experience with detailed deep cleaning
- Experience cleaning ovens, microwaves, kitchens, and bathrooms
- Experience with carpet cleaning
- Experience with residential window cleaning
- Experience safely cleaning exterior second-floor windows is strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation to Southeast Calgary
- Able to arrive on time
- Physically capable of several hours of detailed cleaning
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to follow a detailed checklist
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a 2-person team
- Good communication
Important
This is not a quick surface-level cleaning job. We are looking for cleaners who will take the time to do the job properly and pay attention to details that are often overlooked.
The cleaners selected for this deep clean may become the regular cleaners for this property going forward. Completing the initial deep clean properly will allow the cleaners to learn the property, its layout, supplies, linens, and specific cleaning requirements.
