Position Overview
The Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity across multiple facilities and third-party storage locations. This position is responsible for processing inventory transactions, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records within the ERP system.
This role directly impacts operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and food safety compliance, and requires a high level of attention to detail and accountability.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Transactions & Logistics
- Process receipts, shipments, internal transfers, and returns accurately and efficiently
- Ensure system records align with physical product movement
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in shipping, receiving, and documentation
ERP & System Management
- Execute inventory transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Maintain accurate lot tracking, status updates, and adjustments
- Support audits, traceability requests, and system validation
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies across all locations
- Maintain data integrity across internal and third-party facilities
Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Coordination
- Process and reconcile inventory with external cold storage providers
- Investigate variances between internal records and 3PL reports
- Act as a primary contact for inventory-related issues with external partners
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in inventory processes
- Support SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Production, Quality, and Finance teams
Qualifications
- Required: Direct experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations
- Post-secondary education in Business, Administration, or related field (asset)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
