Sublime Bouquets is looking for a creative, reliable and motivated Floral Assistant to join our growing team!
We are an expanding floral business specializing in luxury bouquets, floral vending machines, online orders, events and Bloom Bar experiences across Ottawa-Gatineau. We are currently growing quickly and looking for someone who would love to grow with the business long term.
This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, organized, social, enjoys learning new things and loves working in a creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with building and preparing bouquets for daily orders and our online store
- Help restock and maintain floral vending machines
- Process flowers and maintain freshness/inventory
- Assist with local flower deliveries and pickups
- Help with Bloom Bar events and setups when needed
- Assist with packaging, organization and general operations
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive brand experience
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Reliable, punctual and organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Social, friendly and team-oriented personality
- Floral experience is a plus, but not required . We are willing to train the right person
- English or French speaker
Position Details:
- Part-time position to start
- Flexible hours including some evenings/weekends during busy seasons
- Potential to grow into a full-time long-term role as the company expands
