Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for providing high-quality service. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical issues
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools efficiently and safely
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
- Complete service orders and maintain accurate records of work performed
- Stay updated with industry advancements and repair techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or similar role
- ASE certification or equivalent is preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proper set of tools for every day repair
