Responsibilities
- Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside.
- Unload merchandise.
- Responsible for receiving materials, unloading or unpacking it, determining correct division it needs to move to, and processing invoices
- Mark items with identifying codes, such as stock, or inventory control codes.
- Stock shelves with unpacked items.
- Ensure label is clear and visible.
- Prepare merchandise for shipment.
- Track special orders internally using Microsoft Excel.
- Operate forklift to lift or place merchandise.
- Ensure all orders are accurately picked and prepared in advance for the following week’s scheduled work.
- Proactively communicate any incomplete material orders to the Scheduling team prior to the start of the work week.
- Maintain the warehouse in a safe, organized, and efficient manner, ensuring materials are stored properly and accessible.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality, contributing to overall team productivity and workflow consistency
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Must have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) experience
- Must have a forklift license
Preferred Skills
- An asset to have Reach Truck Experience
- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Experience working in the construction services industry
- Valid G Driver’s License
