Responsibilities:
· Food cannot be prepared / served without a sales ticket, no exceptions accepted.
· Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure
· Preparing meals according to recipes and quality standards, as well as proper plating presentation and garnishing set for all dishes
· Managing food safety, responsible for rotating product according to "First In, First Out" to maintain shelf-life standards
· Be aware of portioning, food product to cooking according to slandered portion sizes and recipes specifications
· To check all dishes and other items needed for meal serving ensures that all items are cleaned before putting them in use.
· Responsible for following all specifications to properly and efficiently prepare all food items in high quality, taste, presentation, including accommodation of special requests from guest
· Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
· Assume 100% responsibility for quality of product served
· Create and utilize the waste sheet, ensuring food waste is below expectations
· Inform the managers of any foreseeable shortages before food items run out
· Responsible for checking all glassware, cutlery and other items or utensils needed before putting them in use- employee must be mindful of damages, breakages and loss of items
· Responsible for all necessary cleaning duties, pre and post shift, for each shift worked
· Responsible for reporting any sanitation or janitorial issues to Senior Cook, or Kitchen Manager
· Must attend all staff meetings and required training sessions
· Must follow the instructions of his/her Manager and (or) the Supervisor on duty
· Must follow the Code of Behavior Conduct according to company standards laid out in the Employee Handbook
· Responsible for following all policies, processes and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, including but not limited to; dress code and footwear policy, health and safety policy, cleaning procedure policies, workplace violence and harassment policy and the 10 steps of service policy
· Must show up for each shift 15 minutes prior, in proper uniform
· Must interact with guests in a courteous, polite and friendly manner, and serve each guest with speed and quality
· To perform all assigned duties with consistency and efficiency
· Other tasks may be assigned based on the requirements of the business

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
Experience:
- Food service: 3 years (preferred)
