Printing Shop Production Operator
We are a growing print manufacturing company producing greeting cards, notepads, sublimated products, and UV printed items. Our product line includes stickers, mugs, air fresheners, tea towels, coasters, and more. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member with printing, packaging or production experience to join our fast-paced production environment.
Job Summary
The Printing Shop Production Operator is responsible for assisting in the production of customer orders by operating various machines, printing and packaging products. This role requires strong attention to detail, quality control, and the ability to work independently and efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot large format printing, cutting, and post-print finishing equipment
- Operate digital print and post-print processing equipment
- Produce customer orders accurately while meeting quality standards and production targets
- Ensure all products are printed, processed, and cut according to specifications
- Perform regular quality checks to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare equipment and work areas for production runs
- Clean and inspect equipment to ensure safe and proper operation
- Perform light maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery
- Assist team members in other departments based on production needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous printing, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Experience with large format printers, cutting equipment, sublimation, or UV printing is an asset
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
