Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal regulations
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Monitor patient responses to prescribed medications and adjust therapy as necessary
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, interventions, and patient interactions in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on medication adherence, proper administration techniques, and health management strategies
- Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, medical terminology, and best practices in patient care
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license in good standing; pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced healthcare environments while adhering to safety standards
Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
