The opportunity:
KPMG’s Immigration Law practice is looking for a Billing Specialist, to join our Global Immigration Law group for support on daily clerical and administrative activities.

You will be part of a busy, fast-paced and ever-changing environment. We are seeking proactive individuals who are effective communicators, have proven written and proofreading skills as well as a high attention to detail. Your keen interest in the Immigration field is highly welcomed.

What you will do:
Review third party invoices
Invoice coding and uploading
Assist with billing of client files
Prepare reports
Ensure that all client correspondence, documents and relevant data fields are recorded in internal database
Collect invoices, annotate billing codes, and submit to Global Team billing upon receipt
Send files to billing once the immigration process is complete
Any other administrative responsibilities as required

What you bring to this role:
1-2 years of office/administrative experience, ideally within a legal work environment
College diploma or University degree an asset
Customer service focused
Knowledge of immigration practices and procedures an asset
Ability to travel to various consulates to submit and/or pick up documents
Immigration experience a strong asset but not required
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to locate and research information efficiently, to use it effectively, and to evaluate the quality of the information
Strong time management skills
Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills within a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate responsibly and promote effective working relationships
