Septic Service Technician / Class 3 Septic Vac Truck Operator
Location: Central Alberta
We are a growing septic service company seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team. This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities in the private sewage and septic service industry.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 driver's licence (Class 1 is a strong asset)
- Plumbing experience is an asset
- Experience operating trucks, equipment, or heavy machinery
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Physically capable of working outdoors in all seasons
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum trucks and related equipment
- Operate jetter/steamer units for line cleaning, thawing frozen lines, and system maintenance
- Septic tank pumping and maintenance
- Septic tank, piping, and system repairs
- Effluent pump replacements and troubleshooting
- Septic field installations and repairs
- Excavation and site work
- General maintenance and servicing of private sewage systems
- Complete service documentation and communicate with customers professionally
