Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, fast peace and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment
- Assist with food plating and garnishing for service
- Maintain inventory of supplies and communicate needs to management
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by performing various prep tasks
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked throughout shifts
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic culinary skills is desirable
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail is highly valued
This role requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, also being able to lift 50lbs, work under pressure, and being multitasking.
