Content Creator / Social Media Producer (For a Photo Studio)
Location: Etobicoke, ON (Islington & Hwy 401)
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Compensation: $20/hr
Location: Hybrid, in studio plus also from home
We're looking for a creative, fast-paced Content Creator to join our growing photography studio. If you're passionate about social media, love creating engaging short-form videos, and stay on top of the latest trends, we'd love to meet you.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys filming behind-the-scenes content, creating engaging edits, and producing videos that capture attention across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
Responsibilities
- Record behind-the-scenes content during photoshoots and studio operations.
- Edit engaging short-form videos for social media.
- Produce a minimum of 15 finished videos per week.
- Create multiple versions of videos with different hooks, captions, and styles.
- Stay up to date with current social media trends, audio, and editing techniques.
- Post and schedule content across multiple social media platforms.
- Capture client testimonials and promotional content.
- Work with our team to develop creative ideas for advertising and organic content.
- Organize and manage video files efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience filming and editing short-form social media content.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Proficiency with editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Ability to identify and recreate trending content in a way that fits our brand.
- Creative eye for storytelling, pacing, hooks, and captions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple shoots each day.
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet weekly content deadlines.
- Must have a portfolio or examples of previous work.
Bonus Qualifications
- Photography or videography experience.
- Experience running or growing social media accounts.
- Knowledge of Meta, TikTok, or Instagram advertising creatives.
- Graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
